“Pretty good for Protestants”? There are precious few Roman Catholic parishes that do anywhere near as well, much less better! And, alas, I say that as a Catholic.
amcalar bildiğin ilahi yapmış…
ya da biz onlardan alıp ilahi yapmışız, bilemedim şimdi.
I think vibrato (properly taught) is better for your voice. Of course that’s what I read on the Internet!
Pretty good for Protestants. Hopefully Benedict’s plan for the recovery of our rightful tradition and beauty will bring them back into communion with our Holy Mother the Church.
vibrato on gregorian chant? it sound awkward for me. i’m used to listening to a straight tone and i should say it is more gregorian in tone.
At least here in Mexico, you can listen to it in some Benedictin monasteries and even some main cathedrals like Jalapa cathedral, at east of Mexico. The priests and the bishop meet in the presbitery and sing Gregorian chant at noon everyday. I know it because I listened to them some years ago.
Thanks for the video.
=-D
though its much better live… very moving.
That’s probably likely. He has written some things which indicate his desire to see more chant. We’ll see!
Yeah, I know, Maybe with Pope Benedict approving the Latin Mass, We will start seeing it more often!!!
At one time, they did. Alas!
I wish they had that in ALL the Churches!!!
No doubt! Our Church (St. Mary Magdalene’s, Toronto) has an amazing acoustic.
love gregorian chant.
someone’s a bit off there.
I personally think that Gregorian Chant sounds better when it’s being sung in an autotorium then in a room like that.
LOL, beautiful chants, but the local news station is so cheesey, lol “chant wait” when I opened the vid I was expecting to hear the chant right off and I hear “live news from AQ2″ or whatever, it was pretty funny. Anyway, thanks for the great vid.
Well Done ^_^
P.S. Hi Uncle Rob, hehehehe
