@scheib027 – “Hawaiian” does NOT get the article “an” because the H is not silent. In cases of “an hour” or “an herb,” the H’s are silent, making the initial sound a vowel sound, hence the insertion of “an” and not “a.” In the cases of “an” + an H word that has no silent H (an historic, for example), this has to do with accent, and the use of “a” or “an” is optional in those cases. In this video, saying “an Hawaiian” is grammatically incorrect.
same old facts just different bullshit on top, can i get some OC please!
Okay grammar police- there is no typo in the video. The word “Hawaiian” uses the article “an”, just like the phrases “an hour”, “an herb” or “an heiress”. So everyone calm down.
At 1:52 there is a grammar mistake. The “an” should be an “a”.
Just letting everyone know. kinda like Social media huh.

I know Social Media is not a fed with so much of importance . Its amazing how fast the world of social media moves. and specially Facebook change our world so much …before we open our mail box or news channel first we sign in facebook.
WOW – this is amazing. My guest speaker is going to do a presentation on this very topic this coming Monday May 10th.
Gen Y will outnumber Baby Boomers by 2010? Seeing as Gen Y is not universally defined, and usually much more narrowly defined, I have trouble believing this. And it is almost certainly not true in the developed world. It might be true if you include 3rd world populations for 2 reasons – their baby boomers are dying off earlier than in the developed world, and higher birthrates almost guarantee higher populations in future generations. The opposite is probably true in the developed world.

@rawjvh that is why social media is so revolutionary. Because any consumer can say anything about a company and trash their reputation, corporations are forced to listen to consumers. Search YouTube for ‘United Breaks Guitars’ and read about that story.
“socialnomics” are you joking? There already is a discipline called “economic sociology.” — that studies the embeddedness of economic exchange in social structure and ordering. It’s been around for a long time. Ever hear of Durkheim or Weber?
this scares me
